Inspect Vehicles at Belgard Auctions
Before you bid on a vehicle we advise you to inspect the vehicle first. You can inspect vehicles for auction at our site located in Belgard, Tallaght or else view the vehicles on our website. Each vehicle has its own lot number which tells you what order the vehicle will be auctioned off in e.g the lot number 5 tells you that the vehicle will be the 5th vehicle to be auctioned off.

Do some research
Get an idea of what price range you should be bidding within. Ask our staff for suggestions or for more information - the better informed you are - the better the buy you will make. We provide guide prices on our website and in our catalogues. All your questions are important - please take advantage of our staff's experience and knowledge.

Obtain a Bidding Paddle
Before the auction commences you must obtain a bidding paddle which contains your bidding number. To obtain a bidding paddle we must receive a security deposit of €50 from you, otherwise you will not be able to make any bids. Please note that this is a security deposit which will be refunded in total if you do not buy anything or will be taken off the price if you buy a vehicle. You will be asked for identification such as a passport or driving licence, so please remember to bring such documents with you.

Place Your Bid on Your Desired Vehicle
When a vehicle drives into the auction lane the auctioneer announces a starting price. To place your bid you must put your bidding paddle in the air in order for the auctioneer to see it. As bidding  progresses the auctioneer will scan the bidders to determine who wants to make further bids.  Please note that once the hammer falls and if you are the highest bidder, you are legally bound to buy the car.

We supply a Guide Price or BUY IT NOW price on most vehicles. This price includes our Auction fees. This means most vehicles in our catalogue can be bought 6 days a week. We will also sbumit bids to vendors all week, provided the purchaser has viewed the vehicle and satisfied themselves to the condition of same. Please note all vehicles are sold as seen and without warranty and Auction rules apply to all vehicles sold.

Head straight to our Registration and Sales Office
If yours is the winning bid please head straight to our registration and sales office with your bidding number where you can organize payment, ownership transfer and vehicle collection with us. We accept Cash, Credit Cards (2% charge), Debit Cards and Wire Transfers. Please note that payment must be made within 48 hours of the sale.

Pick up your vehicle or have it delivered to you
Please pick up your vehicle within 48 hours of purchasing it. Please note that there is a storage charge for vehicles kept after 48 hours. You may choose to have your vehicle delivered for an additional charge. See Buying Fees.

Buying Out Of Auction/ Buy It Now Price
Generally once a car has been through an Auction the Vendor will often be willing to accept bids throughout the week.
